Kinari

Kinari concept

First, Kinari was a short “combat dance” animation. With it, I wanted to showcase my pixel art animation skills in 30 seconds. Following very positive feedback, I created the environment and the story around the main character. I created animated mobs, new Kinari’s animations, decoration and mechanisms for the game. Today, “Kinari” evolved into a Metroidvania-style video game.

Animation and gameplay intent for the game, this animation is made frame by frame. Music and sound design by Gabriel Palmieri.
